This greenfield development would have a negative impact on the environment and increase peoples reliance on cars. This is against all environmental policies.
The adjacent road is prone to flooding and dangerous for pedestrians. The Street is used as the main route by lorries accessing the airfield grain store, industrial site and local chicken farms. On some stretches such as near the church it is impossible for pedestrians to get off the highway due to the high banks.
