Full text:

The Hellesdon area is short of green spaces and this proposed area for development could be better used as a green space for the current residents of Hellesdon. Also the increased traffic will put even more pressure on the junction of Cromer road and Fifers lane. I currently live in Prince Andrews road and during busy time find it very difficult to exit onto Cromer road this proposed development would make it worse. If this area was allowed to become a green space the large number of residents within walking distance would benefit from it tremendously. The next large green space is in Catton which is too far for most people to walk to. I think it would be very short sighted to loose this space as once it is gone there will not be another opportunity to have a large green space within the Hellesdon area. There are several other proposed development sites on the outskirts of Hellesdon (Holt Road)towards the NDR that would be far better suited. Hellesdon has just recently lost a large green area to development on the Royal Norwich golf site. We should not loose another one.
