Full text:

With regard to GNLP2173, I believe that the access / egress road are not suitable to carry the proposed increase in traffic. The only roads available are the short Heath Close section where turning right onto Cromer road is very difficult at most times during the day and Prince Andrews Road / Brabazon Road. Using the last two roads would create a rat run of cars trying to avoid vehicles which constantly queue back down Cromer road from the Boundary junction. This has been more noticeable following the recent housing development on Eversley Road.

Another consideration is that Prince Andrews Road is quite narrow and contains several tight corners which are not conducive to good traffic flow as there are many vehicles parked at the side of the road both residents and visitors / tradesmen.

This area has a majority of elderly residents where an increase in traffic with its inherent increase in noxious emissions could present its own dangers to residents.

Hellesdon has already grown in recent times by approximately 20% with a loss of much of its green spaces and has contributed its fair share to mitigate the perceived shortage in housing.
I also believe that the infrastructure has not kept up with the population increase.

It is due to the forgoing reasons that I object to the proposal and would like the open space to be preserved.
