Great Plumstead is designate as a Service Village and has already taken an overload of over 30 properties in development at Church Road and Rosebery Road. This strip is classic 'ribbon developmen' expanding beyond the development boundary on a road subject to continual surface water flooding problems. Again removing agricultural land and expamnding housing in a village already growing. Road infrastructure is poor with limited bus transport provision and utility services overloaded with Anglian water already concerned about foul water capacity. The site would only add to these existing problems and concerns. Traffic access onto Hare Road dangerous.
