I do not want this housing estate to be built and would suggest a fairer compromise being a recreational area??

I strongly object to any housing developments on this plot behind heath crescent.

I brought this house 4 years ago because I had a 1 year old and I wanted him to be brought up in a peaceful area on a quiet street where we could still see some green areas from our windows! Green space is something we are so short of nowadays, especially in hellesdon.

I have to walk across the busy ring road ( with no crossing lights ) to take my son to the nearest park!

Personally, every single reason why I purchased a house on this road would be taken away by a housing estate being built behind my back garden. The traffic will be terrible, noise will therefore increase, and the view of that nice green space will be replaced by yet more bricks!

Although I appreciate that the space sitting there doing absolutely nothing is a complete waste I would ask someone to entertain the idea that given that hellesdon lacks green space anyway, that maybe we consider this space being used as a recreational area with parking providing. Somewhere for parents to take their kids and people to take their pets? That way we wouldn't completely lose the green space and traffic would only be increased during certain periods of the day.
Seems like a fairer compromise to me than dumping a building site on people's back gardens with no benefit to them whatsoever.

Many thanks

He is now 5 and enjoys playing on his bike and often uses heath crescent as the traffic flow is light. If this project was to go ahead the traffic implications on our quiet road would be enormous!

My back garden backs directly on to this playing field and my current view would completely change from the back of my house. Again. One of the reasons I broughtt this house was because of its rare lovely view despite
