Representation Summary:

GNLP2173 - This area formerly the Jarrolds Sports Field is the only green space anywhere on the east side of Cromer Road. Families living that side have no parks/recreation areas to take their children without having to cross extremely busy major roads. This is a valuable green space that need to be kept as recreation for residents in that area.

GNLP0334R and GNLP0332R - I have serious concerns about the building of up to 1,000 houses combined on these two area. Firstly it would mean up to 2,000 extra vehicles using the Reepham Road which is already a very busy road and it is not suitable for such volume of traffic being only a Broad and quite narrow in places. Surely it would make more sense to site housing nearer to the new Northern Distributor Road to save more traffic coming into Hellesdon. Hellesdon already has new large housing developments underway on the old golf course, with more planned for the Hellesdon Hospital site and I feel it just cannot sustain even more. The doctor's surgery would be inadequate as it is already full to capacity, the local services, library, community centre etc. would be overwhelmed. There is very limited parking at all the local shops and it is already difficult to find a space so more cars coming in the boundary of Horsford, it is technically classed as coming in the boundary of Horsford, and it is obvious that anyone living there would use Hellesdon facilities as they are so much closer. Also these areas are directly under flight path to Norwich Airport.
