My father has lived here for more than 50 years and enjoyed the quiet environment and pleasant view. He is now 90 and the construction traffic, demolition work and general disruption next to his home would cause him stress and confusion. This proposal would detract from the amenity of his home and reduce its value. Prince Andrew's Road has always been a peaceful residential area with minimal traffic and this proposal seems likely to create congestion. I would much rather see the sports ground retained as a public open space.
