The Main Towns, such as Wymondham, provide a range of services and amenities and are, therefore, a sustainable and suitable location for the majority of growth. As detailed in comments provided in respect of Question 13, the proposed Settlement Hierarchy and the identification of the Main Towns to accommodate a significant amount of growth is supported. However, if it becomes evident that sites within the Norwich Urban area cannot deliver the quantum of development envisaged, the Main Towns can accommodate more than the 14% of growth currently identified.
